1. How to delete your account / 怎么删号
Option A — Inside the app (fastest, takes effect immediately)
- Open 易中文 (EasyChinese) and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to the bottom tab 我的 (Me) → 设置 (Settings).
- Tap 删除账号 (Delete account).
- The first dialog shows exactly what will be removed — read it and continue.
- Type
DELETE(or删除) to confirm, then submit.
The deletion runs immediately on our server. There is no waiting period and no fee.
Option B — By email (use this if you cannot sign in any more)

Delete my EasyChinese account. - Send it from the email address registered in the app (so we can verify it is you), or tell us the registered address if you no longer have access to it.
- We reply within 3 business days to confirm, and complete the deletion within 7 days of verifying your request (never more than 30 days).
Option C — You never created an account
Most of the app works without an account. If you never registered, there is no account to delete; your practice data either stays only on your device or is not linked to any identifier. You can still email us and we will remove anything that can be traced back to you.
2. What we delete / 删什么

3. What we keep, and why / 留什么、为什么
- An anonymised “tombstone” account row. We keep one row that contains no personal identifiers — only “this account was deleted at that time, for that reason”. It exists to stop the account from being silently recreated and to be able to prove your request was honoured.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics (for example, how many learners finished a lesson on a given day). These contain no account link and cannot be traced back to you.
- Records we are legally or security-wise required to keep — for example a record needed
to answer a lawful request, or to enforce a ban for abuse. We keep the minimum, for the shortest
period the law allows, and we do not use it for anything else.
Note: the app currently has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so no payment or tax records are created for it. - Server backups roll over automatically. Your data can therefore survive in a backup for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it is overwritten. Backups are not used to look up individual users.
4. Timing / 处理时限
- In-app deletion: effective immediately when you confirm (the server deletes in one transaction).
- Email requests: acknowledgement within 3 business days, completion within 7 days of verification, and never later than 30 days.
- Backups: fully overwritten within 30 days.

1. 怎么删号
方式 A（App 内，最快、立即生效）：打开「易中文」→ 登录要删除的账号 →
底部 「我的」→「设置」→「删除账号」 → 第一步弹窗会列出将被删除的内容 →
输入 DELETE 或 删除 完成二次确认并提交。删除在服务器上**立即执行**，无等待期、无任何费用。
方式 B（邮件，适合已经登不上号的情况）：用注册时的那个邮箱发信到 327474282@qq.com，标题写「删除易中文账号」； 我们 3 个工作日内回复确认，核实后 7 日内完成删除，最长不超过 30 天。
方式 C（你从来没注册过）：本 App 大部分功能不注册也能用。没有账号就没有「账号」可删； 练习数据只存在你手机上或未关联任何标识。你仍可发邮件给我们，我们会清掉一切能追溯到你个人的内容。

- 账号身份：注册邮箱替换为不含个人信息的内部值、密码哈希清空、昵称改为 Deleted User、 头像清空、第三方登录标识解绑，账号被禁止再次登录（即「匿名化」）。
- 学习进度：课程进度、字词统计、测验记录、积分与签到记录 —— 删除。
- 笔记/收藏/复习：收藏短语、单词笔记、间隔复习（SRS）卡片 —— 删除。
- 翻译与对话：翻译历史条目、你创建的对话会话 —— 删除。
- 口语练习：口语练习会话、你的专属口语生词本 —— 删除。
- 成就与其它：成就、个人词库、每日任务/使用记录、词典查询历史 —— 删除。
- 你提交的反馈：与账号的关联、邮箱、IP 一律抹除（去标识化）， 反馈正文保留但不含任何标识，用于继续修你报的问题。
3. 留什么、为什么
- 一条不含任何个人信息的「墓碑」账号行：只记录「该账号在某时刻因某原因被删除」， 用于防止账号被悄悄重建，并作为你请求已被执行的凭证。
- 匿名汇总统计（如某天有多少人完成某课），不与账号关联，无法追溯到你个人。
- 法律或安全上必须保留的最小记录（例如应对合法调取、封禁滥用）， 只保留必要期限，不用于其它用途。本应用当前没有内购、没有订阅，因此不会产生支付或税务记录。
- 服务器备份会自动滚动覆盖：删除后你的数据最多在备份里存在 30 天， 之后被覆盖；备份不用于按人检索。
4. 处理时限
App 内删除：确认后立即生效；邮件请求：3 个工作日内回复确认， 核实后 7 日内完成，最长不超过 30 天；备份 30 天内完全覆盖。
